FAre e EDucare a HAITI

A program that supports the self-development of  Haitian communities

Several activities are ongoing: support for children's education; construction and support of a new school for disabled children in the town of Lèogane; promotion of local empowerment; financial aid to a primary school in Cité Soleil and two orphanages in Leogane.

Two awards have been granted for construction of the orphanage: in February 2012, the Rotary Club Venezia Mestre Torre granted a Merit Award to Alessia Maso, project coordinator; in December 2011, during the sixth national convention of Bio-Architecture, Geo-biology and Forestry in Florence, the Opera Bio Award was granted.
